Connect Kit

Authorize Kit from the Connections dashboard and segment subscribers based on the classes they join.

Kit helps you send automated emails, newsletters, and campaigns. When you connect Kit to TeachKit, new students flow straight into your audience so you can follow up without manual imports.

Connect Kit

  1. Open Dashboard → Connections.
  2. In the Email List Services section, click Connect on the Kit card.
  3. Sign in to Kit and approve the access request.
  4. After redirecting back to TeachKit, the Kit card displays a connected badge.

What syncs to Kit

  • New students who enroll through TeachKit Checkout are added to your Kit audience.
  • TeachKit sends the student’s name and email address.
  • Each subscriber includes metadata about the class they purchased so you can segment follow-up sequences.

Plan your automations

Once the integration is active, build automations inside Kit that trigger when new subscribers join your TeachKit segments. Ideas include:

  • A welcome series that introduces your teaching style.
  • Reminders to complete lessons or book live sessions.
  • Upsell campaigns that highlight related classes.

Disconnect if needed

Return to Dashboard → Connections and choose Disconnect on the Kit card. TeachKit stops sending new contacts immediately, but existing subscribers remain in Kit for you to manage there.

Keep your list healthy by cleaning bounced or disengaged subscribers directly in Kit—TeachKit will continue to send only fresh enrollments.
