Connect Stripe

Authorize Stripe, confirm the connection, and understand how TeachKit uses your products during checkout.

Stripe powers TeachKit checkouts. Connecting your account lets you sell classes, track revenue, and reconcile payouts in one place.

Requirements

  • A Stripe account in good standing with payouts enabled.
  • Permission to authorize new applications (Stripe calls these “connected accounts”).

Connect Stripe to TeachKit

  1. Navigate to Dashboard → Connections.
  2. In the Payment Services row, click Connect on the Stripe card.
  3. Stripe opens in a secure window. Sign in and select the account you want to use.
  4. Review the requested permissions and click Allow access to this account.
  5. After Stripe redirects you back, TeachKit shows Stripe as connected.

How the connection works

  • TeachKit never stores card details—Stripe handles all payment data.
  • You manage pricing by creating products and prices inside Stripe (see the setup guide below).
  • When a student checks out, TeachKit sends them to Stripe Checkout and records the successful purchase when Stripe confirms payment.

Disconnecting Stripe

You can remove the integration at any time from Dashboard → Connections. Click Disconnect on the Stripe card. Future checkouts will be blocked until you reconnect.
