Connect Vimeo
Authorize Vimeo once, search your catalog inside the lesson editor, and maintain privacy controls from Vimeo.
Vimeo is ideal when you need granular privacy, download restrictions, or custom domains. TeachKit connects through Vimeo OAuth so you never have to copy embed code manually.
Connect to Vimeo
- Visit Dashboard → Connections.
- Under Video Hosting Services, click Connect on the Vimeo card.
- Sign in to Vimeo (if you are not already) and approve the access request.
- After redirecting back to TeachKit, confirm the card shows a connected state.
Add Vimeo videos to lessons
- Open any class in the builder and choose Video Lessons.
- Select a lesson and open the Video Details tab.
- Search by title or keyword to find the Vimeo upload you want.
- Click the result to embed it instantly. TeachKit saves the iframe and updates the lesson title and duration.
Keep privacy aligned
TeachKit honors the embed permissions you configure on Vimeo. If you limit playback to specific domains, add your TeachKit subdomain (or custom domain) in Vimeo to avoid playback errors. Update lessons whenever you move a video or change its privacy.
Disconnect at any time
Head back to Dashboard → Connections and choose Disconnect on the Vimeo card. Existing lessons keep their iframe, but you will lose search inside the editor until you reconnect.
