Add video lessons to your class

Organize modules, embed hosted videos, and preview the student experience before inviting learners.

With your provider connected, you can design the learning experience inside the Video Lessons tab. Each lesson supports embedded media, transcripts, and downloadable resources.

Structure your modules

  1. Open your class and select the Video Lessons tab.
  2. Click Add Module to create the first section of your course. Modules help students see the arc of the class.
  3. Give each module a descriptive title (e.g., “Getting Started with Sketching”).

Add and configure lessons

  • Within a module, choose Add Lesson.
  • Paste the share link or video ID from your connected provider. TeachKit automatically handles the embed code.
  • Set the lesson duration so students know how long to budget.
  • Use the rich text editor to outline key takeaways, steps to follow, or reflection questions.

Attach supporting materials

  • Upload worksheets, templates, or slides in the Resources panel. TeachKit stores them securely and surfaces download buttons below the video.
  • Provide optional reading lists or discussion prompts in the Notes section.

Preview the student view

Click Preview lesson to open the player in a new tab. Verify that:

  • The video loads correctly and captions appear if provided by your host.
  • Resource download links work as expected.
  • Navigation buttons (Next, Previous, Mark Complete) reflect the sequence you planned.

When you save the module or lesson, the Launch Checklist updates. Continue refining content until every lesson is ready for students.
