Understand the Launch Checklist

Access the Launch Checklist, interpret progress, and align every task with the experience inside the TeachKit app.

The Launch Checklist at /launch is the home base for new educators. It translates the onboarding steps inside the app into a clear sequence with progress tracking.

Open the checklist

  1. Sign in to TeachKit and you will be redirected to /launch from the main dashboard.
  2. Bookmark the page—each step links directly to the screen where you complete the task.
  3. If you need to return to the dashboard, use the main navigation and select Launch Checklist at any time.

💡 Tip: The button to the right of the title shows your completion percentage. Click it to expand the list or jump straight into the next incomplete item.

Track your progress

  • The completion bar reads directly from your profile, class builder, and dashboard settings. When you finish a task in-app, the checklist updates automatically.
  • Prefer to track items manually? Toggle the Mark complete switch on any card. This is helpful when you finish a step outside TeachKit, such as creating assets in another tool.
  • Hover over the completion badge on each card to see whether the status came from TeachKit (Auto) or from your manual toggle.

Know what to expect from every card

Each card mirrors a feature area inside the app:

Handle access requirements

  • If your plan does not include class publishing, a prominent Upgrade Now button appears above the checklist. It routes you to /upgrade to manage billing.
  • Already upgraded? The button disappears automatically once TeachKit confirms your subscription status.

When all cards show as completed, you are ready to invite students to your first TeachKit class. Continue through the remaining articles in this topic for deep dives into each step.
