Troubleshoot class access and playback
Check your account, registration status, payment, and video permissions.
A class is missing from Watchlist
Sign in with the same email you used to enroll or purchase. Open the original class link to check whether you are enrolled. A free account does not automatically include every paid class.
For a paid class, keep the Stripe receipt and check whether payment completed. Access depends on confirmed payment, so returning from checkout alone does not prove that the purchase succeeded. Contact the instructor with the class link and purchase details if access does not appear. Never send your card number or sign-in code.
Registration is closed
A creator can set an opening and closing date and time. A class may also be unpublished. Registration Is Closed. prevents new enrollments; ask the instructor about the next opening. Do not change your device clock to try to bypass the schedule.
The video will not play
- Refresh the lesson and confirm that your internet connection is working.
- Try another browser or temporarily check whether a browser extension is blocking the player.
- Read any message inside the video player. The video host may restrict embedding, require its own access, or have removed the video.
- Send the instructor the class link, lesson title, and exact error message.
TeachKit displays videos supplied by the instructor's video host. Signing in to TeachKit does not override a provider's privacy restrictions. A lesson that says This lesson is ready to read below. has no video embed; read the lesson content below the player.
Progress did not change
Use Mark as complete explicitly. Next lesson and the video player's playback controls do not mark completion. Refresh to check that progress saved, and make sure you are still signed in. Instructors viewing their own class cannot use the learner completion button.
If only the action checklist is incomplete, check those items individually. Lesson completion and action-item completion are separate.
Download or link problems
Try the resource again from its lesson. If it remains unavailable, ask the instructor to check the file or destination. Include the resource name and lesson title so they can find it.
