Find your way around TeachKit
Use the workspace navigation on desktop and mobile, and switch between learning and teaching.
Your TeachKit workspace brings classes, student information, and account controls together. What you see depends on whether you have a learner or teacher account.
Open your workspace
Sign in to TeachKit. Teachers can open Your Classes to manage their classes. Learners can open Watchlist to return to classes they have joined.
On a wide screen, use the navigation at the side of the workspace. On a phone, choose Open navigation in the top bar, select a destination, then return to the page. Class landing pages and lesson pages use a focused layout, so they do not always show the full workspace menu.
Find the right destination
| Destination | What you can do |
|---|---|
| Watchlist | Return to enrolled classes and see learning progress. |
| Browse Classes | Find published classes. |
| Your Classes | Open, organize, and edit your classes as a teacher. |
| Students | Review enrollment information and student access as a teacher. |
| Reviews | Read student feedback as a teacher. |
| Profile | Update your name, photo, biography, and profile details. |
| Connections | Connect supported video, email marketing, and payment services as a teacher. |
| Account | Manage your username, email address, and appearance. |
| Subscription | Review the teaching plan information available to your account. |
The account menu in the top bar also offers Your profile, Account settings, and Sign out. Use the appearance control to change the theme without leaving your work.
Start teaching
Learner accounts do not show the teacher tools or Connections. Choose Start Teaching to begin the teacher setup flow. Once you are a teacher, use Create class and follow the launch checklist.
If your account shows Upgrade instead, review the plan information displayed in TeachKit. Feature availability can depend on whether subscription requirements are enabled. Do not create a second account to work around an access problem.
Get help
Knowledgebase opens these guides. Feature Requests opens the request board. Teachers also have Contact in the Help group. The top-bar Send feedback control is available for sharing feedback from the workspace. For troubleshooting, see Get help with a problem.
